The Metal Fetishist is a beat making tool for rythm discovery and percussive sound design. The unapologetically digital sound engine includes a basic oscillator, a noise source, a resonant multi-mode filter, and an effects section featuring distortion, downsampling, phaser, flanger and chorus.
Random sequencing with control
Two randomness generators manage the trigger probability and the step-modulation. Pitch, cutoff or an internal mixer that blends noise (or external audio) can be controlled by it, with many other parameters also available through a menu selection. The STEPS knob loops the random steps creating fixed lenght sequences.
Audio Input available to process external sounds
The Metal Fetishist can be used as an effects processor. External sound sources can be processed through the filter, the distortion and other effects, and even the sequencer. Make rythms with any sound.
A TRS-MIDI input allows for the instrument to be played and synced via MIDI-enabled devices.
